    Mazen HAYEK joined MBC Group in October 2006. HAYEK’s role as MBC Group’s Official Spokesman is coupled with Commercial, PR & CSR responsibilities, with the objective to nurture mutually beneficial relationships with key stakeholders, namely: the Press/Media, Sr. Government officials, NGOs, Top business decision-makers, Advertisers/Clients/Brand guardians, Media Buying Units/Ad/PR Agencies, Suppliers and End-consumers.

    Media International Services Gulf (MIS)

    Marwan Kai started his career in media representation in 1989 working with Media International Services (MIS) in their London headquarters.
    Initially, he was responsible for looking after the Far Eastern markets of Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and Singapore. In 1992, he took over the Middle Eastern markets and moved to Dubai in 1993 to set up the regional office for MIS, embarking on an expansion plan that saw the company acquire the rights for a range of media, including CNN International, Grand Cinemas, T3 Middle East, Rolling Stone Middle East, Cartoon Network as well as developing additional titles; Alam Assayarrat, Zeina, Alam Assaat Wal Moujawharat. The new Digital world is now very much part of the expansion and MIS is proud to offer an exciting platform to our partners.
    Marwan has served on many industry bodies including the Joint Industry Committee for Media Research (JICMER), and the GCC Media Research Committee. He was vice president during the IAA World Congress held in Dubai in 2006.
    He graduated with a double major in Economics and Marketing from Richmond College in UK.

    22-year veteran of JWT, joined the company to head Unilever in Dubai. Set up the agency’s first Regional Business Unit in the Gulf and expanded its operation to all MENA markets. Developed regional integrated communications for brands like Lipton and LUX, helping them earn Power Brand status within Unilever NAMET. Took the helm of JWT Dubai in 1997, leading its growth into the largest operation in the network and a regional hub for clients like HSBC, Kraft, Nestlé and Nokia. Promoted to CEO Gulf in 2003 and CEO MEA in 2013. Expanded the network, establishing successful on the ground operations in Qatar and Iraq. In his tenure, JWT Dubai won agency of the year in 2008 at Dubai Lynx, and Dubai Lynx network of the year in 2010, Cristal MENA Network of the year 2013 and the Effies 2013 index, awarding the most effective agency network. Also, named 2013 Network of the year by Campaign magazine.
    Father of two, Armenian by birth, Lebanese by nationality, happily married to a Tunisian, living in Dubai - a true example of multiculturalism.

    Rajeev Khanna has been Group Advertisement Manager of Gulf News since 1998. He currently heads the advertising activities for their flagship brand the daily broadsheet Gulf News, additionally, he also runs the advertising department of the Digital Media Unit, the Direct Marketing Division and the advertising section of Xpress, a weekly community newspaper that is also part of the Al Nisr Group.
    Rajeev joined the newspaper’s marketing department at the time of the newspaper’s re-launch in 1985 and has helped take the publication to the position it occupies today. Before moving to Dubai, Rajeev held senior positions in India’s well known TATA group.
    Rajeev has participated with the IAA core team during both the Asian Advertising Congress and the successful pitch to stage the IAA World Congress in Dubai.
    Rajeev is a graduate of Bombay University and majored in Economics and Political Science.
    His hobbies revolve around a passion for Golf and he is an avid collector of scaled down models of classic cars.
    Rajeev is married and has a daughter.

    As CEO, Mohan has been responsible for building MEC in this rapidly emerging region. Through innovative solutions and approaches, MEC MENA has evolved to market leader under Mohan’s leadership, recording year-on-year profitability.
    Mohan draws from over 25 years of experience in an always changing and ever growing industry. He has been with MEC since its inception in 1993 and has steered the organic growth of the company. As a leader, Mohan is known to play an active part in guiding and nurturing his team of over 200 people across 12 countries, ensuring everyone feels inspired to deliver their best for the agency’s clients every day.
    His experience stretches across consumer, direct and business to business communication across all forms of paid, owned and earned media, as well as developing tools and research applications – and he has handled the business for key clients like Sony Ericsson, Citibank, DHL, Emaar, Etisalat, Ford Motor Company, PAG, Audi, Wella, Visa and Canon.
    Driving media planning and buying, tapping the tremendous potential of digital and mobile, and now pushing the envelope through leadership in data, Mohan has been instrumental in conceptualising and implementing several award-winning campaigns for MEC MENA, simultaniously raising the region’s industry profile internationally
