Optimedia secures 3 new account

Reinforcing its reputation as one of the Middle East’s leading media agencies; Optimedia Dubai has won three new media planning and buying accounts to strengthen its regional client portfolio.

A division of Publicis-Graphics, one of the largest full-service communications groups in the Middle East, Optimedia’s new business acquisitions in the region include Lactalis International - the world’s third largest dairy group and manufacturers of the President and Galbani brands of premium cheese - and Orient TV, the pan-Arab general interest satellite TV station broadcast from Dubai. Additionally, the agency has won a new 2-year contract with Burger King, a long-standing Optimedia account, after a review that also involved other leading media agencies in the region.

Explaining Burger King’s decision to extend its contract with Optimedia, Derek Fulbrook, General Manager of the Burger King Middle East Restaurant Service Centre, said, “Optimedia offers so much more than a media buying service, and has become strategic partners in the BK brand’s ongoing success. What allows Optimedia to stand out in the media services marketplace are their proactive approach to buying and the planning elements of their service, not to mention their transparent professionalism.”

Paula Cheaib, General Manager of Optimedia Dubai, said, “The new business acquisitions underscore once again Optimedia’s superior value delivery, and represent an exciting opportunity for the agency as it comes at a difficult period for the advertising and media industries. We look forward to working with our new clients and helping them achieve their business goals by providing a comprehensive range of high-impact marketing solutions.”

Optimedia will provide the full range of strategic media planning and media buying services for Burger King, Lactalis and Orient TV in the Middle East.

Cheaib said, “At Optimedia, we strive to create a sustainable advantage for our clients by identifying and leveraging the most effective ways of connecting with consumers. We focus on outcomes rather than outputs, and our strategic approach as well as our constant emphasis on increasing the productivity of the client’s marketing budget allows us to always deliver quantifiable results.”

Optimedia is part of ZenithOptimedia, one of the world’s largest media services groups with 218 offices in 72 countries. The agency offers a wide range of services, from the development of communications strategy through executional planning, negotiation and implementation.
