Abu Dhabi-based Gulf Sports Media is set to launch the Gulf region’s first English language daily sports newspaper, Gulf Times has reported. The new publication, called Sport 360, will be published seven days a week with a minimum of 40 pages in a format slightly bigger than a tabloid. London-based Steve McKenlay, former executive sports editor of the Sun and head of sport at the London Standard, has been appointed as editor of the project, which will also be heavily focused on online and mobile content delivery.
