IAA Announces Nomination for Board of Directors

Dubai – November 2008: The International Advertising Association’s (IAA) UAE Chapter announced today the nominees for the upcoming 2008-2010 term for the association’s Board of Directors. Elections will be held on November 11th, 2008 at the IAA UAE Chapter premises, Dubai Media City, Building no 8, Office no G19.

This IAA’s Board consists of 13 Director’s seats, and a whole new Board will elected by the voting process. IAA’s current board has introduced a number of landmark initiatives within the global organization, headquartered in New York, including support for the regional Lynx Advertising Awards, the Middle East and North Africa Advertising Awards for Creative Excellence, and the IAA Education Conference, an annual event that seeks to advance global marketing communications education.

All eligible members are invited to vote in the election process commencing on November 11 at 6:00pm; the ballot will close at 06:45pm. The voting and counting process will be supervised by Mazars Chartered Accountant, the IAA’s auditors.

Eligible members voting via a proxy should send in their proxy forms prior to the election date, either by Fax (04 390 8362) or Email (), and the original form may also be presented by your proxy on the day of the election.
